Jeff Ploderl

 

Jeff has an intensive basketball background. He played 4 years for the Gallaudet men’s basketball program with 3 years as team captain. He also made the 1000 Point Club. He served 1 year as a student assistant coach for the Gallaudet men’s basketball program before he became the head coach for the girls’ basketball team at Phoenix Day School for the Deaf. His accomplishments include being chosen as Arizona Interscholastic Association Coach of the Year, winning the Western States Basketball Championships, capturing a Gold Medal at the Deaflympics in Denmark in 1997, and being inducted into the Manitowoc Lincoln High School Athletic Hall of Fame and Lakeshore Hall of Fame Manitowoc County in 2018. He was the assistant coach for the US men’s basketball team during the World Deaf Basketball Championships in Poland in 2019. Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.

 

He is currently the Athletic Director at Phoenix Day School for the Deaf. He resides in Phoenix, Arizona.
